Celebrated 50 years of National Service at the Floating Platform this evening! It was an appropriate location, as many recruits have held their BMT Passing Out Parades there. Now, the Platform will be redeveloped into a permanent space to commemorate National Service.
Below the grandstand, we will build a gallery to tell the story of Singapore’s NS journey. We will also expand the grandstand, so that more people can enjoy events there, including the National Day Parade! :) – LHL
